Centrevision, located in Melbourne, Australia, is the exclusive importer and distributor of Provision-ISR products for Australia.
Is Provision-ISR a Good Brand?
Yes, Provision ISR is a good brand. Their cameras and NVRs have a more user-friendly interface than many prosumer-level Chinese brands, but it is still not as user-friendly as consumer-level brands.
Regarding hardware, since Provision-ISR private-labels TVT, the comparison should be made with TVT.
Dahua and Hikvision would be considered ahead of TVT regarding hardware technology, but TVT is ahead of many other manufacturers.
It could be a good choice if you want a middle-of-the-range offering and want to avoid Dahua and Hikvision due to their connections in China.
Provision-ISR has NDAA-compliant product lines, which means cameras in those product lines are not on the US government ban list and are allowed to be used in government facilities.

Is Provision-ISR NDAA Compliant?
Partially. The company claims their S-Sight, Eye-Sight, and Smart Sight product lines are NDAA compliant. However, their low-end B-Sight line does not appear with the NDAA-compliance label and is excluded from their catalogue when you choose only to show their NDAA-complaint models.
Some of the wording on their website may lead one to believe that all of their product lines are NDAA compliant:
"Provision-ISR supports NDAA compliance across its product line and is committed to complying with all government and international trade regulations."
However, "across its product line" seems to exclude the B-Sight range.
What is Check Point Embedded?
Provision-ISR has partnered with Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. to build a cybersecurity package into their cameras. It is easy to forget that security cameras are usually small ARM-based Linux computers (similar to an Android smartphone) often connected to the Internet. So, some thought needs to be given to how to protect them.
This cybersecurity package may make their devices more resistant to being hacked. I have not seen this feature in any other security camera brand, and it is a welcome addition to the industry.
Provision ISR Mobile App?
Provision ISR has created a mobile app called the "Provision Cam 2" to make it easier for clients to manage and watch their security cameras. You can use this app to:
- View a live feed of footage from cameras at various quality levels
- Take video and screenshots from the live feed and save them to your phone or cloud storage.
- Receive notifications when the cameras detect alarms or motion.
